Carlo Romano Italy is an extension of the Wasan Group of Companies. Since its inception in 1930 by the Late Mr K. N. Wasan, the group has come a long way. From being the pioneers in the export of shoes and shoe uppers, the group has been constantly involved in the manufacturing of high quality internationally accepted leathers and shoes, in Agra, which is 200 km from the capital city of New Delhi. The group's tannery division has a production capacity of one million square feet of finished leather per month.

Footwear division

From the processing of raw hides to the manufacture of world-class leather shoes, the Group's Shoe manufacturing division is spread over 50,000 square meters, which consists of a Tannery, sole Plant, Insole Plant and Counter Moulding Plant with a capacity of manufacturing 1 million pairs per annum. We do Formal Shoes, Boots, Sandals and Slipper for men, women and kids. We specialize in Comfort shoes, Hand sewn and moccasin for Men, Women and Kids. Rigorous quality checks at each stage of the manufacturing process, supported by an elaborate testing infrastructure, helps in achieving international quality standards. The Group has an ISO 9001 certified manufacturing infrastructure.

The group is headed by Mr Pradip Wasan, who took over the reins of the group after Late Mr Deepak Wasan and Late Mr Sushil Wasan. he is supported by Miss Chaandnee Wasan, Miss Anikaa Wasan and Mr Aryaman Wasan. Wasan Group is well diversified with interests in Shoes, Leather Garments, Finished Leather, Italian Furniture and International Trading.
